Since our effectiveness as management consultants and technical experts critically depends on earning — and maintaining — the confidence of our clients, it’s probably no surprise that we’re selective about whom we hire. Some of the the key attributes we look for in a new team member include:
- Strong technical background, especially with enterprise-scale application architecture
- Experience in standard industry architecture practices (e.g., visual modeling, architectural assessment, design patterns)
- Project management or technical leadership experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with current enterprise architectures (e.g. n-tier, client server, distributed)
- Familiarity with one or more enterprise architecture frameworks or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, TEAF, MDA)
- Experience with software development best practices
- Ability to decompose and abstract both problems and solutions
- Self starter with excellent organizational skills
